Hello world. The Drums are amazeballs. I can't believe I discovered them on a music blog a year ago then fell in love with them. And then last night I finally got to watch them play live at St James'. Most energetic concert ever!!! There weren't a lot of people who turned up for the concert (Well, The Drums ARE indie and rather new in the scene) but the fans were amazing. The call for an encore led to all of us singing "If you fall asleep down by the water, baby I'll carry you all the way home" repeatedly. Seriously a damn sweet moment to see all The Drums fans bonding over this great band :) I'm glad for the existence of The Drums and their awesomeness, as well as the company I had last night (Charmaine, Daniel, Yumi). I think this will be my first and last concert of the year... Goodbye the awesome concert feelings, you will be sorely missed.

Hi world. I really wanna just go be a hippie and leave everything about my current life behind. Except for maybe my music and books. I wanna travel the world, explore cool cities with old beautiful architecture or with indie (underground) life, spend my time discovering new music, spend my time at cafes reading new books, exploring music stores and book stores, maybe watch cool films every week. I wanna get rid of school, A Levels, people who disappoint or who make me sad. I wanna get rid of Singapore, of the almost-stifling environment that surrounds me. I wanna get rid of the restrictions that restrict me from living life as I want to live it.
Yknow, I actually wouldn't mind taking History A-Levels. History, just history and nothing else. Okay maybe GP. I wouldn't mind studying History all my life if I never had to be tested for it. What are tests for anyway? To determine whether you are smart or not? To determine whether or not you can continue with the career or the life you wanna pursue? That's rubbish la okay. Why would society not want me to continue studying History in uni if that's all I wanna do with my life, even if I get straight C's in my A-Levels. It wouldn't even be good enough if I got an "A" in History and "B" or "C" in everything else. I hate society and the way it is today...
All I can do is dream.
